Digital PR & authority

Earn authority with useful stories—not paid ranking links.

Original research, linkable assets and editorial relationships that give publications a genuine reason to cover you.

Authority is the accumulated result of other people finding your work worth referencing. It cannot be purchased in bulk, and buying links to pass authority violates Google’s spam policies — which is why ALCA no longer offers link packages priced by Domain Rating, anchor text or do-follow status.

What works is slower and more defensible: produce something genuinely worth citing, take it to the people who cover that subject, and build relationships that outlast a single campaign. Coverage is never guaranteed, and any placement that involves payment or exchange of value is qualified with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow", as Google requires.

Scope

What an authority engagement covers

Original research

Surveys, proprietary data analysis and industry benchmarks that produce a finding nobody else can report — the most reliable reason a publication has to link.

Data stories

Existing public or internal data turned into a defensible narrative with a clear method, so journalists can use it without having to verify it from scratch.

Linkable assets

Tools, calculators, datasets, maps and reference resources that stay useful long after the campaign that launched them.

Journalist and publication outreach

Targeted, individually written pitches to reporters and editors who actually cover the subject — not a bulk send to a purchased media list.

Expert commentary

Positioning your subject-matter experts as sources for stories already in progress, which is often the fastest route to a first placement.

Partnerships

Co-produced research, joint resources and industry collaborations that earn coverage from both sides of the relationship.

Local and industry citations

Accurate, consistent listings in the directories, associations and industry bodies that a real business in your category belongs to.

What you receive

The asset, the outreach and an honest account of what it produced.

  • A campaign concept grounded in data or expertise you actually have
  • The linkable asset itself — research, tool, dataset or reference resource
  • A researched, individually targeted outreach list with the reasoning for each contact
  • Pitch copy written per publication, plus follow-up handling
  • Reporting on placements achieved, including the ones that did not convert
  • Citation audit and cleanup across relevant directories and industry bodies

What we do not do

  • No guaranteed placements. Editorial coverage is a decision made by editors, and no vendor honestly controls it.
  • No promises about do-follow status, link permanence, anchor text or Domain Rating. Publishers change, remove and re-qualify links, and pretending otherwise is a promise nobody can keep.
  • No buying links to pass authority. Where a placement is sponsored, paid or exchanged for value, it is qualified with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow" — the disclosure Google requires.
  • Third-party authority scores such as DR or DA may appear as secondary diagnostics for prioritizing targets. They are never sold as a product.

Frequently asked questions

Do you sell links?

No. ALCA does not buy or sell links intended to pass ranking authority, and does not price work by Domain Rating, anchor text or do-follow status. When a placement is sponsored or paid in any form, it is qualified with rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow", which is what Google requires.

What happened to the blogger outreach service?

It was retired. The previous offer sold link placements priced by third-party authority score, together with guarantees about follow status, anchor text and permanence that no vendor can honestly make and that conflict with Google’s current spam policies. This page is what replaced it: earned coverage, legitimate citations and properly qualified sponsored placements.

How many links will we get?

We do not sell a number, because we cannot honestly promise one. What we commit to is the asset, the research behind the outreach list, the pitches sent and an honest report of what was placed and what was declined.

How long does a campaign take?

Building a research asset typically takes three to six weeks, and outreach runs for several weeks after publication. Expert commentary can produce placements faster because it attaches to stories already being written.

Each of these can be scoped on its own or run as part of one program.
